UI Performance (What the User Actually Feels)
Users don’t care how elegant your scripts are—they care about how the system feels. In this session, we focus entirely on the user interface and how it directly impacts perceived performance. We’ll examine layouts overloaded with objects, portals, and calculations, and compare them with cleaner, more intentional designs. You’ll see how simplifying a layout can instantly improve responsiveness without touching a single script. This session is highly visual and practical, showing how better UI decisions lead to faster, more enjoyable user experiences.

Server Performance (Using Power the Right Way)
FileMaker Server is powerful—but only if used correctly. In this session, we explore how to leverage the server to improve performance instead of accidentally making things worse. We’ll cover when to use Perform Script on Server (PSOS), how to distribute workload between client and server, and how to avoid common pitfalls. You’ll also see how to handle multiple processes safely and efficiently, including strategies to prevent overload. Through live comparisons, you’ll clearly see the difference between client-side and server-side execution.

A well build FileMaker Help Request system can increase the value of almost any FileMaker system by making it easier for: • users, managers, and developers to submit bug reports, feature request and questions. • users, managers to "pass found sets of records around" • project owners to manage FileMaker projects efficiently • developers to respond to bug reports, feature request and questions thereby increasing project return on investment A FileMaker Help Request system should: [1] allow users to submit Help Requests (4 types) with detailed metadata (file, layout, record, etc.) using GET functions and Design Functions with or without screen captures and/or snapshot links [2] automatically send Script errors and Script usage reports to the Help Request system

FileMaker - How Nick Hunter uses AI in his everyday work flow - Day 1
This webinar is for FileMaker developers who want to understand how AI can help with real daily work: faster prototyping, cleaner logic, better structure, stronger architecture.iio We will cover collaboration workflow: how to talk to AI, explain the goal, provide samples, how to iterate and use Codex connected to a project, how files are received and generated, and how architecture can be designed through conversation before anything is built. The session will focus on working with Save a Copy as XML, sending real examples to AI, analyzing existing FileMaker objects, improving half-finished work, generating new objects, and using AI to complete or correct what has already been started. We will also look at how AI creates and refines scripts, script steps, tables, fields, layouts, buttons, interface objects, relationships, logic, and architecture. We will explore the difference between asking AI to wrap a full table, a script, or generate only selected script steps, and how this changes the quality and usefulness of the result.
